JULY 2009

                                                GRAND KNIGHT'S MESSAGE

Brother Knights,

I can’t believe July is already here.  Well, the month of June sure was a wet one, let's pray for some sun! I would like to thank my brother knights for electing myself and all the officers for another year. I would like to thank all the officers and former officers for their support this last year. There was a lot to learn as Grand Knight, and their help was greatly appreciated as it made things a lot easier.

Congratulations to Father Chris Martel, our former Seminarian, who was Ordained June 6th.

We have a few projects coming up in July.  July 4th Parade, Raymond Fair July 10, 11and 12th and The Motorcycle Blessing July 19th.  We do need help with these projects, so I hope to see you there.July 26th we have a Quarterly meeting; let me know if you would like to go.

We are still in need of people for allnight adoration, so, please sign up to spend some time with our Lord.

God Bless

Rick Cabral GK

HUMOROUS TIMES

Two Little Boys

After a hardy rainstorm filled all the potholes in the streets and alleys, a young mother watched her two little boys playing in the puddles through her kitchen window.

The older of the two, a five year old lad, grabbed his sibling by the back of his head and shoved his face into the water hole.

As the boy recovered and stood laughing and dripping, the mother ran to the yard in a panic..

'Why on earth did you do that to your little brother?' she asked as she shook the older boy in anger.
'We were just playing church mommy,' he said.
'I was just baptizing him....in the name of the Father, the Son and in...the hole-he-goes.'
