GRAND KNIGHT'S MESSAGE
Brother Knights,
I can’t believe July is already here. Well, the month of June sure was a wet one, let's pray for some sun! I would like to thank my brother knights for electing myself and all the officers for another year. I would like to thank all the officers and former officers for their support this last year. There was a lot to learn as Grand Knight, and their help was greatly appreciated as it made things a lot easier.
Congratulations to Father Chris Martel, our former Seminarian, who was Ordained June 6th.
We have a few projects coming up in July. July 4th Parade, Raymond Fair July 10, 11and 12th and The Motorcycle Blessing July 19th. We do need help with these projects, so I hope to see you there.July 26th we have a Quarterly meeting; let me know if you would like to go.
We are still in need of people for allnight adoration, so, please sign up to spend some time with our Lord.
God Bless
Rick Cabral GK
Congratulations New Sir Knights

Grand Knight Rick Cabral said the Special Olympics went well, the Walk For Life was being held today at the Iber Grove Holmes Middle School in Raymond and help was needed working in the trailer. Also, help is needed with project fundraisers, especially since we are now doing more projects. We also need help raising money to cover our costs. Rick mentioned that the Squires dinner went well. There is no Squires Dinner in July as they have a trailer at the Raymond Town Fair. The Squires will also be helping with the Parish picnic.
Mike Annis reported Fr. Von’s picture has been put up. Also, Mike talked about the Raymond Town Fair July 10th to 12th and the Motorcycle Blessing July 19th as key fundraisers where help is needed. A $52 profit was turned in by Mike from the Mother’s Day Breakfast and he said $275 will be coming back to the Council from the Fishing Derby. Mike also noted that $260 had been spent for supplies for the trailer for the Walk For Life on June 14th.
John Nasser reported incoming funds of $514 from the Lenten Fish Fry dinners and that the Tootsie Roll Drive raised $1648.
Leo Blouin reported that Deacon Chris Martel is now Fr. Chris Martel and is awaiting his first Parish assignment.
Ron Metevier said the next Blood Drives are Sept. 1st, 2009 and February 23rd, 2010. The Mall of NH is not doing the Evening of Giving this year but is willing to work with Charities on fundraisers. A group will be going to Mass at Somersworth June 27th to surprise Fr. Mike. The Mass will be 5:30PM at Holy Trinity with a dinner to follow at St. Martin’s. Regalia is needed and it’s planned to meet at Epping McDonalds to car pool and leave at 4:00PM.Ladies Night went well with 33 attending and Theresa Yergeau was an honored guest. If interested, we can do it again next year so let Ron know.
