Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,
Well, the month of July was a busy one, with the 4th of July Parade starting us off. We won first place and a $100 prize for our float. Congratulations to all who worked so hard on creating the float.
Next came the Raymond Fair, both the Knights and the Squires had one of the best years to date. It was a lot of hard work but it was worth it.I would like to thank all the Knights that helped make it happen. Also, thanks to Pete Hubby and all who helped run the Squire Trailer while I was on vacation.
The Bike Blessing turned out great, with well over 100 bikes. A special thanks to Father Mike for coming from Somersworth to bless every bike there. It was great to see him again.
I would like to welcome all the new knights that joined The Knights of Columbus this month.
Brothers, thanks again for all your hard work, and remember August is a busy month. Also, we will need help with upcoming projects.
God Bless,
Rick Cabral GK

HUMOROUS TIMES
A Minister was completing a temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said,” If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the wine in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."
And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he said ,"And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I’d take it and pour it into the river."
Sermon complete, he sat down. The song leader stood very cautiously and announced, "For our closing song, let us sing Hymn # 365, 'Shall we gather at the River"
